Do you have the reading for A/F from the dyno? Without seeing that is hard to tell, but my guess is you're not maxing out those 555 injectors at all.
About the bogging down...when you run on drag radials (more so on slicks), you have to watch the speedo instead rpm for shifting. Shift to 2nd gear when speeds reads 43mph or so. What happened is when you launch on high rpm with drag radials and slicks, when you red line the first gear, the speed is not up there. You have to let it bounce off rev limitor to let the speed to catch up.
